Sandy Tatum Scholarship
Sandy Tatum Scholarship was started in 2017 in honor of First Tee — San Francisco’s late President Frank “Sandy” Tatum. Sandy Tatum was a great influence in the golf industry, serving as the USGA President from 1978 to 1980, golf course architect and golf promoter. Sandy Tatum brought First Tee to San Francisco in 2004. With his passing, Sandy’s legacy lives on through the Organization and this Scholarship Program. Sandy Tatum believes in helping participants achieve their Higher Education goals and ensuring our participants are Workplace Ready.
Future Foursome Participants that have shown good attendance and participation with the program are eligible to apply for the Sandy Tatum Scholarship. Award is determined by academic success, commitment to First Tee — San Francisco, and involvement in their community.
