Program Activities

Academic Enrichment

In the summer intensive program, Academic Enrichment is provided five days a week in a 1-hour classroom setting. The curriculum covers a range of subjects including Math, Reading, Writing, Coding, Financial Literacy, College Counseling, and more. Each activity is tailored to suit the academic level of every participant.

Students engage in dynamic and interactive lessons that aim to enhance their critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. The Academic Enrichment program is designed to not only supplement the students’ existing knowledge but also to introduce them to new and exciting concepts. By incorporating a variety of subjects, we strive to create a well-rounded educational experience that prepares students for success in various academic fields. Our dedicated instructors work closely with each participant to provide personalized support and encouragement, ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. With a focus on fostering a love for learning and a growth mindset, the program aims to inspire students to excel academically and pursue their educational goals with confidence and enthusiasm.

Academic Monitoring

The Academic Monitoring program is built to ensure that all First Tee — San Francisco participants not only excel in golf but also in their educational journey. Coaches build personal relationships with Future Foursome Participants’ teachers and/or school counselors to track homework completion, GPA, and attendance. Each participant will also receive an individualized plan to set and meet goals in school.

Field Trips

Future Foursome Participants are given the opportunity to go on various field trips that promotes education, inspiration and fun. Trips we have taken previously include: The PGA Superstore, The House of Air, California Academy of Sciences, Exploratorium, San Francisco Food Bank, Office Visits to PwC, Meta and All Birds, and more. These trips are made to introduce our participants to different experiences and career opportunities. Each year we partner with different organizations and companies to promote innovation, creativity and success.
