JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

First Tee — San Francisco offers a unique experience to employees.  You will be working with the First Tee — San Francisco participants by positively impacting their lives through the First Tee Golf and Life Skills Experience.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Must be active in the Assistant Coach Training (ACT) the First Tee Coach Program.
  2. Become proficient in the delivery of TARGET and PLAYer level lessons.
  3. Assist in First Tee certification.
  4. Monitor, maintain, and organize all storage areas in teaching facilities.
  5. Track participants’ attendance accurately.
  6. Perform other support duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility.  

Work Environment

The position regularly works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.  

Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 50 pounds.  Must be able to walk nine holes.  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position.  

  • At least 18 years of age

Credentials/Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
