Sandy Tatum (1920 - 2017)
The flags at our home, TPC Harding Park, flew at half-mast this past weekend in honor of the passing of our founder, Frank “Sandy” Tatum, Jr. Sandy died peacefully on Thursday, June 22nd at the age of 96.
The First Tee of San Francisco family is deeply saddened by the loss of this great man. Words cannot describe the true impact Sandy had on golf and our program in particular. His passion for the game and its inherent values have inspired countless people. His legacy will live for generations to come.
